6 Best Fictional Characters to Go Drinking With

St. Patrick’s Day is today and it’s a pretty great holiday. Celebrating Irish culture by drinking an unhealthy amount of alcohol and wearing an unhealthy amount of green in one day with all your best pals, what more can you ask for?

As I scroll down Tumblr for an unhealthy amount of time (there’s kind of a pattern here, huh?), I started thinking about the best fictional characters to go drinking with. There’s so many to choose from but here are my top 6 (in no particular order):

1) Tyrion Lannister (Game of Thrones)

Let’s face it, out of all the Lannister family, he seems the most normal and fun of them all. Plus when he’s drunk (which seems to be all the time), he’s got all the best jokes, can drink everyone else under the table and there’s even times when he gets super philosophical before passing out in a barn somewhere.

2) Sterling Archer (Archer)

Drinking with Sterling Archer is like stepping into some sort of…wait for it…DANGER ZONE! Sorry, lame joke but it was right there.

3) Lucille Bluth (Arrested Development)

I mean, who wouldn’t want to be criticized about your imperfections by Lucille? It’s just like your real mother, anyways. The only difference is Lucille will let you have alcohol for breakfast too.

4) The cast of Shaun of the Dead

Having a pint at the Winchester after killing off a horde of zombies with your best mates? Sold.

5) Marion Ravenwood (Raiders of the Lost Ark)

Well educated, well traveled and a hard-drinker? YES

6) The dwarves from The Hobbit

These guys know what a good time is. Plus, they’ll help you clean up the mess they made after! How sweet!
