‘Adventure Time’ is Coming to the Big Screen!
According to Deadline, Adventure Time is set to head to the big screen!

The movie is also set to be produced by The LEGO Movie’s Chris McKay and Rob Lee, alongside Adventure Time creator Pendleton Ward who will be involved with producing and writing for the film as well. Cartoon Network will also be involved the the production of the film.
Adventure Time follows 12-year-old protagonist Finn and his best friend Jake the Dog who work together to protect the Land of Ooo from the Ice King who is constantly searching for Princess Bubblegum.

McKay was recently brought in to direct The LEGO Batman movie and is also one of the guys behind Robot Chicken. The LEGO Movie proved incredibly successful bringing in $468.7M worldwide, so the Adventure Time movie is definitely in good hands with these guys.
