DC Announces Pin-up Variants
The women of the DC Universe are already deadly, but DC is looking to leverage their feminine charms in a series of pin-up inspired covers that will hit the racks this June. The covers will be based on the recent series of DC Bombshell statues and feature the best loved females from the DCU looking flirty in 40s and 50s inspired fashions. Think Poison Ivy meets Betty Page.
The covers are designed by artist Ant Lucia who melds his passion for comics, sci-fi, horror and pin-ups together to create fantastic results. Not only did he deisgn the Bombshell statues, but there are new pin-ups making it into this cover series that haven’t been released yet.
