It was announced earlier this week by label Island Records, that there would be an album of unreleased tracks by late singer Amy Winehouse coming this December. The album will be comprised of new and old material recorded by the soulful crooner herself.
Amy passed away this past July after battling addictions to drugs and alcohol, joining the infamous “27 club”. Her albums, ‘Frank’ and ‘Back To Black’ cemented her status as a legend, and she sang with a voice that could belong to a woman well beyond her years. The album which will be titled, ‘Lioness: Hidden Treasures’ will feature songs
produced by Mark Ronson, and even a track that she recorded with Tony Bennet called, “Body and Soul”.
The album is due out on December 5th.
