The Pull List: Top 5 Titles for April 2

This week’s titles don’t need an introduction, check out the top 5 on GEEKPR0N’s Pull List:

caliban

5. Caliban #1

Garth Ennis is the writer of this new science fiction horror, so you know it’s going to be dark. According to the previews, the Caliban is on a routine mission into deep space when an accident causes it to collide with an alien ship. Of course, it’s not likely to end well, so sign me up!

angel

4. Angel and Faith Season 10 #1

It’s been a good month for Whedon fans; with releases of Buffy Season 10, Serenity: Leaves on the Wind, and now Angel and Faith, it’s easy to catch up on all of your favourite characters from the Whedonverse. Angel and Faith Season 10 will see Angel trying to contain a magic outbreak in London and Faith working alongside Buffy and slaying.

3. Action Comics #30

With Forever Evil wrapped up, the DCU doesn’t quite look the same. Lex Luthor and Superman have changed roles and there are dangerous forces amassing to strike at the Man of Steel. Since this is the immediate follow up to the new DCU’s first big event, there’s a lot riding on this issue.

2. Deadpool vs Carnage #1 (of 4)

While I’m not the biggest fan of Deadpool turning up absolutely everywhere, and I find him a bit over saturated, I am really excited to see him paired up with Carnage. Between Deadpool quipping and his healing factor, he is more than a match for Carnage’s sadistic violence. I’ll be giving this one a try because it’s bound to be bloody and hysterical.

Ultimate-Spider-Man-200-Covers-85960

1. Ultimate Spider-Man #200

Marvel is teasing that this issue will have one of the biggest surprise endings of the year. Taking place a year after Peter Parker’s death, the gathering of mourners will apparently bring secrets to light. Iconic writer Brian Michael Bendis teams with some of Marvel’s superstar artists like Mark Bagely, Mark Brooks and Sarah Pichelli for this monumental issue.
