TCAF takes over Toronto

This weekend is Mother’s Day – and TCAF: the Toronto Comic Arts Festival. Entering its twelfth year, TCAF has grown from an attendance of 600 at the first one, to over 22,000 last year. What happens at the Festival? There are hundreds of exhibitors, almost a hundred debut books – including GEEKPR0N favorite: The Pitiful Human-Lizard #4 and Toronto Comic Anthology Volume 2- and panel streams including Comics versus Gaming, Kids programming, as well as Q&A and discussions into the industry. There are also movie screenings and social gatherings. Organized by The Beguiling, this is the most concentrated blend of all aspects of the comic world possible.

They have a mobile Guidebook app. To properly prepare for  all the awesome things to do, my advice is to use the map to see where your favourite artists/creators are located, write down the times and locations of panels, and then find out where the social events are being held. Spreadsheets are your friend.

Or you could read some of our highlights.
