Fight Club Has a Comic Book Sequel!

Just announced! 18 years after the release of Fight Club, author Chuck Palahniuk has confirmed the sequel – this one to be published in comic book form.

The book will follow the story of the original narrator, now several years older and married to Marla Singer, his experiences as a father to an eight year old son, and the lasting effects of Tyler Durden and Project Mayhem. Palahniuk was inspired to continue the storyline after falling in with the comic book community of Portland, Oregon and reflecting on his changed experiences in middle age. Palahniuk will be writing the series, with artist Cameron Stewart (Batgirl) illustrating and covers by David Mack (Kabuki). The colourist is Dave Stewart, lettering is by Nate Piekos, and will be edited by Scott Allie.

The news broke today, one day ahead of schedule by USA Today, with confirmation on Twitter by the artists involved, who are apparently very happy to finally be able to reveal the news:
