Batgirl Redesign and New Creative Team Announced!
Start looking for a pair of bright yellow combat boots for your next Batgirl cosplay!
Just announced today by MTV is the new creative team taking over Batgirl and the awesome redesign featuring a removable snap-on collar, and a leather (definitely NOT spandex!) bat-suit. The creative team consists of writing by Brenden Fletcher (Gotham Academy) and Cameron Stewart (Sin Titulo), layouts and covers by Stewart, art linework by Babs Tarr, and colouring by Jordie Bellaire (Wicked + the Divine).
The new Batgirl stories start in Batgirl #35 and will keep the original characters created by Gail Simone, but giving it a younger, lighter vibe than previous versions. Gail Simone is moving on to new projects in the DC universe that have yet to be made public.
Batgirl #35 will premiere in comic shops on October 8, 2014.
