Bryan Fuller to develop a Munsters reboot

A development deal for Bryan Fuller to bring “The Munsters” to the small screen for NBC has been officially confirmed. After a failed attempted at a reboot project last year, NBC Exec Robert Greenblatt has requested a second shot at the project with Bryan Fuller at the helm.

Fuller, known for his work in sci-fi and fantasy television has a knack for creating beautifully complex, fantastical worlds that are both similar yet drastically different from our own reality.  Drawing strange yet completely relatable stories and characters from these story-verses.

Best known for his three amazing, magical, and devastatingly short-lived series “Wonderfalls”, “Dead Like Me” and “Pushing Daisies” Fuller seems the perfect pick to head the creation of what is described as an edgier, darker hour-long origin story about how Herman and Lily Munster arrived at 1313 Mockingbird Lane.

My fingers are crossed that this little project see the glowy light of our TV sets! I would love to see a  “Munsters” reboot ( and mostly because I would love to see any new Fuller project on the air again.)

Would you watch a new Munsters TV show?  Love it, Hate it? Who would you cast in the lead roles?
