I’ll be the first to admit, I’m not the biggest fan of “urban” music. However,  I definitely know the difference between substantial hip hop and complete bullshit. Soulja Bhoy? Are you fucking kidding me?

Even as one of the only alternative brown kids growing up in the area of Malvern; widely considered a suburban ghetto, I was still able to find light in the sea of bling that began to flood the airwaves in the late 90’s.

This shit right here? This is real Hip hop.

    You should add Gangstarr, Das EFX, Artifacts, Group Home, Edo G, Pete Rock, Grand Puba, the pharcyde, and the list goes on!!!! <3
