Sega Saturn Wood Laptop Tech/Gadget/Science

Sega Saturn laptop gives retro gamers wood

Holy Santa Claus Shit! Remember Sega Saturn? The “other” guy? It was always the system your brothers friends cousin owned. For me, it was my cousin. I’ve only ever been in the presence of this near mythical machine once and, I was astonished by its crispy graphics, crazy flat discs and soul-crushing load times. Back in 1995, the Sega Saturn was listed at $499 when it was released. (approx $700 today)

So why would anyone wanna encase it in wood and preserve it forever like some kind of weird Sega mummy? I think the better question would be, why wouldn’t you?

Check it out below.

  1. My friends always had Saturn too. I skipped it. Went from my Gemini system to Nintendo then straight to Panasonic CDi. Saturn was so cool though. Not as cool as TurboGraffx16 though 😛
