D&D Podcast Season II: Rise of Tiamat Part 15
“That son of a lich”
What does it mean to make a deal with a lich? It means you’re probably at odds with your cleric. Tarek and the Head Smashers have spent the night in Thay, and they have learned a lot about the hospitality of the dead. Surprisingly, their cuisine is amazing. How well will their newly forged alliance hold up? Thay has agreed to join the fight, but at what cost? While the dead from the Alliance Forces will remain untouched; any and all fallen cultists will rise as zombies. This can only strengthen the Thayan forces, and it means problems for the Sword Coast down the road.
Another pressing question is, what about the spies? Have all the spies, from the Cult of the Dragon, been caught? War is on the horizon, and the planning is at a crucial moment. Can the Head Smashers trust the forces of Thay?
It has been a long road for the Head Smashers, and it gets tougher from here. What waits for them at the Well of Dragons, and what will the Cult throw at them to raise Tiamat from Hell? The journey to the final battle continues, and each step is getting harder than the last.
