John Noble to host ‘Dark Matters’ a Real Life Fringe Science Show [Trailer]

dr-walter-bishop-fringe-300x240John Noble who plays Walter Bishop on FOX’s little sci-fi show that could, Fringe has scored a sweet gig hosting Science Channel’s new show about real life fringe, or weird science. The show has been granted an initial 6 episode order to dive into the weirdest corners of science.

“Dark Matters” will explore actual scientific research on the most outrageous subjects including head transplantation studies, actual zombie investigations and attempts to cross-breed humans with apes. Noble describes the type of stories on “Dark Matters” as “outlandish as a great sci-fi script or as disturbing as a classic horror tale — the only difference is that they’re all true…The series offers a glimpse into the dark side of science, as well as human nature.”

On top of all these other kinds of weird, in this trailer John Noble speaks with the American accent he uses to portray Walter Bishop on Fringe rather than his native Australian, is he going to keep this up the whole time?
