Sex Pistols Graffiti Discovered

While I know you can appreciate a well drawn picture of a penis face – maybe even enough to call it art – would you think of it as a key moment in history?!

Graffiti has been found inside of a London England flat that was rented by popular punk band The Sex Pistols during their heyday in the 70’s. It has been suggested by Dr. John Schofield, of the Department of Archaeology at the University of York that the markings, drawn mainly by singer John Lydon, are of greater significance than the discovery of early Beatles recordings and is “a direct and powerful representation of a radical and dramatic movement of rebellion.” Huh.

This is the most exciting news for the former Mr. Rotten since he won on Judge Judy. Click more to check out some of the penis face art.
