Lil’G: Coolest Boombox Ever

Remember Doodle Bears? They were teddy bears that you could draw all over with markers before washing them and starting all over again. Now as a kid, I never really questioned whether or not it was good to have plush animals with marker all over them so close to my face as I slept and that probably explains a missing brain cell or two on my end as a result. Well thank goodness the Toronto born illustrator/artist/creative genius Jasin Dollin gave us this amazing boom box that we can create on instead. The Lil’G is a portable speaker system that’s aiming to blend an old school hip-hop vibe while combining the aesthetic of the popular vinyl toy look. You use it with any mp3 player either through plugging it in or through its bluetooth capabilities and trust me g33ks, this boom box sounds good. Really good. I tested it out not too long ago (as you can see) and loved it. It has interchangeable speaker grills which means you can customize your boom box even if you aren’t so artistically inclined. But if you are? The options are endless; you can paint, draw, stencil, you name it on top of your Lil’G to create a stereo that is truly you. Personally, I’d be decorating it Batman or Darth Vader style…but that’s just me.
